The club is open to members but under the latest covid rules.

It is open to club members for pre-booked bowls.
It is hoped that near-normal bowls will be available from 17 May 2021.
We are open for coaching from 10th May to non-members wishing to learn the game of bowls (see coaching section for more information).

The Club

Located in the parish of Haydon Wick, Swindon, Wiltshire, is our very friendly bowls club. Situated off Thames Avenue opposite Morrisons Supermarket, the club has a comfortable club house complete with a small bar.
Ladies and Men’s changing facilities are provided. Ample parking is available adjacent to our 6-rink green.
The club has a full activity program throughout the winter months.
We always welcome newcomers to our club. Please contact us to enquire about either our coaching or membership.

Haydon Wick now has an active Boules (Petanque) section. We have three pistes and play every Tuesday and Saturday morning, both Winter and Summer. We always stop at some point for a tea, coffee and biscuits. A small charge of £1 covers a game and refreshments. If anyone is interested in playing, come along on either of these two mornings and talk to one of our members who will be happy to help and inform.

Every Monday from 6:00 pm throughout the season (First Monday after May Day bank holiday through to September) the bowls club welcomes all comers to our free coaching sessions. The club has a total of three qualified coaches so if you are interested in finding out if lawn bowls is for you, come along and give it a go? All we ask is that you wear flat bottom shoes with little or no tread. We provide the bowls and everything else.
