Haydon Wick Bowls Club are proud to support a local Swindon charity this year. We will be collecting and organising events throughout 2024 to raise funds for this outstanding local facility. Prospect Hospice provides outstanding end-of-life care for those living in Swindon, north east Wiltshire, Fairford and Lechlade, whenever and wherever they need it. Our approach is compassionate, respectful and personalised to everyone who needs it.

It is with deep sorrow I have to share the news that one of our very popular members has passed away. Jim Young passed away peacefully on Saturday morning at the Prospect Hospice. Our love and thoughts are with Wendy and the family at this time.

For those people not within the Haydon Wick Parish area I have attached our article from their Summer 2023 addition.

It is with some pride that I can announce that our Richard Carey along with his Director also a Hayden Wick member have won the silver medal.  It was a very competitive tournament with three players on 15 points going into their last games. Richard and Phil beat George Allen who was also on 15 points—first photograph. Also on 23rd April, Richard and Phil were members of a VI triples team, that won the Silver medal at the VI National…
